Al-Kāfi - The Book of Social Manners Chapter: Offering the Greeting of Peace ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْ٠َنِ بْنِ أَبِي نَجْرَانَ عَنْ عَاصِ٠ٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ كَانَ سَلْ٠َهُ الله يَقُولُ أَفْشُوا سَلا٠َ الله فَإِنَّ سَلا٠َ الله لا يَنَالُ الظَّالِ٠4.

A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ‘Abd al- Rahman ibn abu Najran from ‘Asim ibn Hamid from Muhammad ibn Muslim from abu Ja’far (a.s.) who has said the following: “Salman, May Allah grant him favors, would say, ‘Offer the greeting of peace from Allah openly; the unjust do not receive the greeting of peace from Allah.’” وثق - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (12/540))
