Sahl ibn Ziyad has narrated from Jaâfar ibn Muhammad al-Ashâari from ibn al- Qaddah from Abu âAbdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: âA person riding should offer greetings of peace to the one walking on foot and the one standing should offer greetings of peace to the one sitting.â Ø¶Ø¹ÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (12/543))
