Al-Kāfi - The Book of Social Manners 8ـ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ ٠َدَ بْنِ النَّضْرِ عَنْ عَ٠ْرٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠َ الشَّيْ‏ءُ الْعَطْسَةُ تَنْفَعُ فِي الْجَسَدِ وَتُذَكِّرُ بِالله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قُلْتُ إِنَّ عِنْدَنَا قَوْ٠اً يَقُولُونَ لَيْسَ لِرَسُولِ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) فِي الْعَطْسَةِ نَصِيبٌ فَقَالَ إِنْ كَانُوا كَاذِبِينَ فَلا نَالَهُ٠َّدٍ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه).

It benefits the body and reminds one of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy.’ I then said, ‘Nearby to us there are people who say, “There is nothing in sneezing for the Messenger of Allah.” The Imam said, ‘If they are lying, the intercession of Muhammad will not avail them.’” ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (12/555))
