Al-Kāfi - The Book of Social Manners Chapter: The Necessity to Honor an Old Muslim 6ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ ٠َدَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سَعْدَانَ بْنِ ٠ٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ وَغَيْرِهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠ِنْ إِجْلالِ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِجْلالُ ذِي الشَّيْبَةِ الْ٠6.

Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Ahmad ibn Ishaq from Sa’dan ibn Muslim from abu Basir and others from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “It is honoring Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, to honor an old Muslim.” سكت عنه - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (2/560))
