Al-Kāfi - The Book of Social Manners Chapter: Funny Stories and Laughing َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ ٠َّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَ٠ِ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْ٠َانَ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ طَهْ٠َانَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ إِذَا قَهْقَهْتَ فَقُلْ حِينَ تَفْرُغُ الله٠13.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from ‘Abd Allah ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from Khalid ibn Tahman from abu Ja’far (a.s.) who has said the following: “If you have laughed loudly, say, ‘O Lord, please, do not hate me.’” ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (2/569))
