Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn âIsa from al-Hajjal from Dawud ibn Farqad and Ali ibn âAqabah and ThaâLabah in a marfuâ manner from Abu âAbdillah (a.s.) and abu Jaâfar (a.s.) or one of them who has said the following: âMuch joking eliminates the dignity of oneâs face and much laughing hurls belief far away.â Ø±ÙÙØ¹ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (2/569))
