Al-Kāfi - The Book of Taharat (Cleansing) Chapter: The Cleansing Quality of Water 4ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْ٠َنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ ٠َاءِ الْبَحْرِ أَ طَهُورٌ هُوَ قَالَ نَعَ٠4.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ’Isa from Yunus ibn ’Abd al-Rahman from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), ‘Is sea water clean?’ He (the Imam) replied, ‘Yes, it is clean.’” صحيح على الظاهر - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (13/6))
