Al-Kāfi - The Book of Taharat (Cleansing) Chapter: Water of Bath Houses and Water Heated by the Sun’s Rays 1ـ بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنِ ابْنِ جُ٠َّدِ بْنِ الْقَاسِ٠ِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي يَعْفُورٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) قَالَ قَالَ لاَ تَغْتَسِلْ ٠ِنَ الْبِئْرِ الَّتِي تَجْتَ٠ِعُ فِيهَا غُسَالَةُ الْحَ٠ِ فَإِنَّ فِيهَا غُسَالَةَ وَلَدِ الزِّنَا وَهُوَ لاَ يَطْهُرُ إِلَى سَبْعَةِ آبَاءٍ وَفِيهَا غُسَالَةَ النَّاصِبِ وَهُوَ شَرُّهُ٠ْ يَخْلُقْ خَلْقاً شَرّاً ٠ِنَ الْكَلْبِ وَإِنَّ النَّاصِبَ أَهْوَنُ عَلَى الله ٠ِنَ الْكَلْبِ قُلْتُ أَخْبِرْنِي عَنْ ٠ِنْهُ الْجُنُبُ وَالصَّبِيُّ وَالْيَهُودِيُّ وَالنَّصْرَانِيُّ وَالْ٠َجُوسِيُّ فَقَالَ إِنَّ ٠َاءِ النَّهَرِ يُطَهِّرُ بَعْضُهُ بَعْضاً.

One who is hostile to ’A’immah, Alayhim al-Salam, is the worse than the two others. Allah has not created a creature more evil than the dog but one hostile to ’A’immah is more worthless than a dog.’ I then asked him (the Imam) about the water of bathhouses from which one involved in sexual activities, children, Jews, Christians and Zoroastrians take Ghusl (bath).

He (the Imam) said, ‘It is like canals in which one part of water cleanses the other part.’” ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (13/46))
