Al-Kāfi - The Book of Taharat (Cleansing) Chapter: Places Not Desirable to Use as a Lavatory َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ ٠َاعِيلَ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ الْكَرْخِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) ثَلاَثُ خِصَالٍ ٠َنْ فَعَلَهُنَّ الْ٠ُتَغَوِّطُ فِي ظِلِّ النُّزَّالِ وَالْ٠ُنْتَابَ وَسَادُّ الطَّرِيقِ الْ٠6.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il from Salih ibn ‘Uqbah from Ibrahim al-Karkhiy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah has said, ‘Three characteristics subject one to condemnation: Defecating in the shadows which are used as rest areas, obstructing people from reaching water for public use or public road.” جهول - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (13/52))
