Al-Kāfi - The Book of Taharat (Cleansing) Chapter: The Quantity of Water Required for Wudu’, Showers and One Who Is Excessive in the Use of Water for Wudu’ 8ـ عَلِيٌّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ الرَّجُلُ يُجْنِبُ فَيَرْتَ٠َاسَةً وَاحِدَةً فَيَخْرُجُ يُجْزِئُهُ ذَلِكَ ٠ِنْ غُسْلِهِ قَالَ نَعَ٠8.

Ali has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following: “I once asked abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who after sexual relations immerses his whole body in water at once and comes out. ‘Is this sufficient for Ghusl (bath)?’ He (the Imam) replied, ‘Yes, it is sufficient.’” شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (13/69))
