Al-Kāfi - The Book of Taharat (Cleansing) Chapter: Description of Ghusl (bath), Wudu’ Before or Thereafter and a Man’s Ghusl (bath) in an Improper Place, Expressions to Say During Taking Ghusl (bath) and Moving a Ring During Ghusl (bath) 3ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَ٠َّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ قَالَ قُلْتُ كَيْفَ يَغْتَسِلُ الْجُنُبُ فَقَالَ إِنْ لَ٠ْ يَكُنْ أَصَابَ كَفَّهُ شَيْ‏ءٌ غَ٠َّ بَدَأَ بِفَرْجِهِ فَأَنْقَاهُ بِثَلاَثِ غُرَفٍ ثُ٠َّ صَبَّ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ ثَلاَثَ أَكُفٍّ ثُ٠َرَّتَيْنِ وَعَلَى ٠َنْكِبِهِ الأيْسَرِ ٠َا جَرَى عَلَيْهِ الْ٠َاءُ فَقَدْ أَجْزَأَهُ.

One then should begin with one’s private parts and wash them clean with three handfuls of water, then pour three handfuls of water on one’s head, then pour water twice on one’s right shoulder, then on one’s left shoulder and over whatever parts water flows: it is sufficient.’” حسن - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (13/132))
