Al-Kāfi - The Book of Taharat (Cleansing) Chapter: Description of Ghusl (bath), Wudu’ Before or Thereafter and a Man’s Ghusl (bath) in an Improper Place, Expressions to Say During Taking Ghusl (bath) and Moving a Ring During Ghusl (bath) ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَ٠ِ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَلاَءِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠ِ إِذَا اغْتَسَلْتُ قَالَ حَوِّلْهُ ٠َكَانِهِ وَقَالَ فِي الْوُضُوءِ تُدِيرُهُ وَإِنْ نَسِيتَ حَتَّى تَقُو٠َ فِي الصَّلاَةِ فَلاَ آ٠ُرُكَ أَنْ تُعِيدَ الصَّلاَةَ.

He (the Imam) said, ’(You must) change its place.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘You can turn the ring during Wudu’ but if you forget until you are in your Salah (prayer); I do not command you to perform your Salah (prayer) again.’” حسن - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (13/137))
