Al-Kāfi - The Book of Taharat (Cleansing) Chapter: One after Carnal Relations Eats, Drinks, Reads, Enters a Masjid, Dyes Hair, Uses Fragrance and So On 8ـ أَبُو دَاوُدَ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) عَنِ الْجُنُبِ وَالْحَائِضِ يَتَنَاوَلاَنِ ٠َتَاعَ يَكُونُ فِيهِ قَالَ نَعَ٠ْ وَلَكِنْ لاَ يَضَعَانِ فِي الْ٠8.

Abu Dawud has narrated from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Fadalah ibn Ayyub from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following: “I once asked abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), about one, who experiencing sexual relation or Hayd (menses), picks up something from Masjid. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is permissible but they must not leave something in Masjid.”’ صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (13/150))
