Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from Ali ibn al-Hakam from al-Husayn ibn abu af-âAfaâ who has said the foflowing: âI once asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about a man who passes by a well but does not have a bucket (to draw water). He (the Imam) said, âIt is not necessary for him to climb down the well; the Lord of water is the Lord the earth; he must take Tayammum.ââ Øس٠- Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (3/179))
