Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Mahbub from âAbd Malik ibn âAtiyyah from Dawud ibn Farqad who has said the following: âI once asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about a man who buys a slave-girl who possesses awareness but does not experience Hayd (menses) while in his possession until six months and she is not pregnant.
He (the Imam) said, âIf slave-girls similar to her experience Hayd (menses) and it is not because of old age, it is a defect and a reason to revoke the contract of sale?â صØÙØ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (3/256))
