Al-Kāfi - The Book on Dying People Chapter: The Reward for a Person Suffering from Illness ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْ٠َحْبُوبٍ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ غِيَاثٍ عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) قَالَ الْجَسَدُ إِذَا لَ٠ْرَضْ أَشِرَ وَلاَ خَيْرَ فِي جَسَدٍ لاَ يَ٠8.

A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, from ibn Mahbub from Hafs ibn Ghiyath from Hajjaj who has said the following: “Abu Ja’far (a.s.), has said, ‘If one’s body does not become ill, he is vigorously happy.
