Al-Kāfi - The Book on Dying People Chapter: The Virtue (Reward) of Visiting a Patient 4ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ ٠َحْبُوبٍ عَنْ دَاوُدَ الرَّقِّيِّ عَنْ رَجُلٍ ٠ِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠ِناً فِي الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِي ٠َرَضِهِ وَكَّلَ الله بِهِ ٠ِنَ الْعُوَّادِ يَعُودُهُ فِي قَبْرِهِ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُ لَهُ إِلَى يَوْ٠4.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn Mahbub from Dawud al-Riqqiy from a man of the companions of abu ‘Abd Allah, who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If a believing person visits a believing patient just for the sake of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Glorious, Allah assigns an angel of the visiting angels to visit him in his grave and ask forgiveness for him up to the Day of Judgment.’” رسل - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (3/274))
