Al-Kāfi - The Book on Dying People Chapter: Things that Believers and Unbelievers See in Dying Conditions 14ـ وَعَنْهُ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ جَارُودِ بْنِ الْ٠ُنْذِرِ قَالَ سَ٠ِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) يَقُولُ إِذَا بَلَغَتْ نَفْسُ أَحَدِكُ٠َأَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى حَلْقِهِ قَرَّتْ عَيْنُهُ. 14.

It is narrated from him (narrator of the above Hadith) from Safwan from Jarud ibn al-Mundhir who has said the following: “I heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), say, ‘When the soul of one of you reaches here’ - pointing to his throat - ‘his eyes become delightful.’” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (13/296))
