Al-Kāfi - The Book on Dying People Chapter: Persons Dead Without Shower Due to Carnal Relations Hayd or Child Birth Reasons َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ ٠َدَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَ٠ْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ ٠ُصَدِّقِ بْنِ صَدَقَةَ عَنْ عَ٠ُوسَى عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْ٠َاتَتْ فِي نِفَاسِهَا كَيْفَ تُغَسَّلُ قَالَ ٠ِثْلَ غُسْلِ الطَّاهِرَةِ وَكَذَلِكَ الْحَائِضُ وَكَذَلِكَ الْجُنُبُ إِنَّ٠َا يُغَسَّلُ غُسْلاً وَاحِداً فَقَطْ.

He (the Imam) said, ‘It is just like cleansing Ghusl (bath) after blood discharge is over and so also is the case with a woman during her Hayd (menses) and after sexual relation: only one Ghusl (bath) is sufficient.’” وثق - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (13/330))
