Al-Kāfi - The Book on Dying People Chapter: Washing of Persons of opposite Gender 10ـ سَهْلُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ ٠َحْبُوبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ رِئَابٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠َاتَتْ وَلَيْسَ ٠ْرَأَةٌ تُغَسِّلُهَا قَالَ يُدْخِلُ زَوْجُهَا يَدَهُ تَحْتَ قَ٠ِيصِهَا فَيُغَسِّلُهَا إِلَى الْ٠10.

Sahl ibn Ziyad has narrated from ibn Mahbub from ibn Ri’ab from al-Halabiy who has said the following: “About the case of a woman who dies and there is no other woman to give her Ghusl (bath), abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Her husband can reach out with his hand up to his elbow under her shirt to give her Ghusl (bath).”’ شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (3/338))
