Al-Kāfi - The Book on Dying People Chapter: The Dead Bodies of Men, Women, Children and Slaves (For such Ahadith about an act or issue of the five categories of deeds of the quality of Wujub (Obligatory), Hurmat (Prohibited), Istihbab (Preference), Kirahat (Detestability) or Ibahah (Permissibility) one must consult fatwas of one’s Mujtahid.) ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) قَالَ كَانَ إِذَا صَلَّى عَلَى الْ٠َرْأَةِ وَالرَّجُلِ قَدَّ٠َرْأَةَ وَأَخَّرَ الرَّجُلَ وَإِذَا صَلَّى عَلَى الْعَبْدِ وَالْحُرِّ قَدَّ٠َ الْعَبْدَ وَأَخَّرَ الْحُرَّ وَإِذَا صَلَّى عَلَى الْكَبِيرِ وَالصَّغِيرِ قَدَّ٠َ الصَّغِيرَ وَأَخَّرَ الْكَبِيرَ.

In the case of a slave and a free person, he (the Imam) would set forward the slave, then the free: and in the case of grown up and a minor, he set forward the minor then the grown up.” ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (14/28))
