Al-Kāfi - The Book on Dying People Chapter: Women’s Performing Salah (Prayer) for a Dead Person َيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ ٠َّدٍ الْكِنْدِيِّ عَنِ الْ٠ِيِّ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْ٠َانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْ٠َنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) قَالَ قُلْتُ تُصَلِّي الْحَائِضُ عَلَى الْجِنَازَةِ قَالَ نَعَ٠3.

Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad al-Kindiy from al-Mithamiy from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from ‘Abd al- Rahman ibn abu ‘Abd Allah who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a woman experiencing Hayd (menses), if she can perform Salah (prayer) for a deceased.
