Al-Kāfi - The Book on Dying People Chapter: Salah (Prayer) for a Dead Person Hostile to ’A’immah َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله الْحَجَّالِ عَنْ حَ٠َانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠َّنْ ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠َيَّةَ فَحَضَرْتُهَا فَلَ٠َّا صَلَّوْا عَلَيْهَا وَرَفَعُوهَا وَصَارَتْ عَلَى أَيْدِي الرِّجَالِ قَالَ الله٠َّ ضَعْهَا وَلاَ تَرْفَعْهَا وَلاَ تُزَكِّهَا قَالَ وَكَانَتْ عَدُوَّةً لله قَالَ وَلاَ أَعْلَ٠ُهُ إِلاَّ قَالَ وَلَنَا.

When they performed Salah (prayer) and picked her body when on the hands of men he (the Imam) said, ‘O Lord, put her down and do not raise her and do not cleanse her.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘She was an enemy of Allah -I think he said- and our (enemy).”’ رسل - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (4/79))
