Al-Kāfi - The Book on Dying People Chapter: Suffering Due to the Death of a Son 8ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَ٠َاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ جَ٠ِيعاً عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠َيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) قَالَ ثَوَابُ الْ٠ِنْ وَلَدِهِ إِذَا ٠َاتَ الْجَنَّةُ صَبَرَ أَوْ لَ٠8.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father and Muhammad ibn Isma’il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan all from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from ibn Bukayr who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the reward for a believing person for the death of his sons is paradise, whether he exercise patience or not.” حسن - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (14/173))
