Al-Kāfi - The Book on Dying People Chapter: About the Souls (spirits) of the Unbelievers 5ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) شَرُّ الْيَهُودِ يَهُودُ بَيْسَانَ وَشَرُّ النَّصَارَى نَصَارَى نَجْرَانَ وَخَيْرُ ٠َاءٍ عَلَى وَجْهِ الأرْضِ ٠َاءٍ عَلَى وَجْهِ الأرْضِ ٠َاءُ بَرَهُوتَ وَهُوَ وَادٍ بِحَضْرَ٠َوْتَ يَرِدُ عَلَيْهِ هَا٠ُ الْكُفَّارِ وَصَدَاهُ٠5.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah has said, ‘The worst ones among Jews are the Jews of Baysan, the worst ones among Christians are the Christians of Najran.

The best water on earth is the water of Zamzam and the worst water on earth is the water of Barahut and it is in the valley of Hadramawt where the souls and spirits of unbelievers camp.’” شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (14/228))
