8.Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Muhammad ibn al-Hassan from âAbd Allah ibn âAbd al-Rahman from Mismaâ ibn âAbd Malik who has said the following: âHe (the Imam) (a.s.), has said, âWhen you complete al-Dhuhr Salah (prayer), it is time for al- âAsr Salah (prayer) except that before it there is Nafl (optional Salah (prayer) and it is up to you to make it lengthy or a short one.ââ Ø´ÙÙر - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (5/36))
