Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from âAbd Allah ibn Bukayr from Zurarah from Abu âAbdillah (a.s.) who said, âThe Messenger of Allah (sw) performed the Dhuhr and âAsr prayers when the sun declined (toward the west at noontime) in congregation without any reason. He also performed the Maghrib and Ishaâ prayers in congregation before disappearing of al-Shafaq (redness) without any reason to do so.
The Messenger of Allah (sw) did so to make it easier for his followers.â ÙØ«Ù - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (15/51))
