Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr from âAbd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following: âI once was present in Masjid of the Messenger of Allah, during the time of al-Maghrib Salah (prayer) in a rainy evening. When it was near al-Shafaq (redness), they called and performed Salah (prayer) of al-Maghrib.
People were given time to perform two Rakâat Salah (prayer), then the caller stood in his place in Masjid, called for Salah (prayer) and they performed al-Ishaâ Salah (prayer). People then left for their homes. I asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about it. He (the Imam) said, âYes, the Messenger of Allah had certainly done so.ââ Ø´ÙÙر - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (5/51))
