Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Saâid and Muhammad ibn Khalid all from al- Qasim ibn âUrwah from âUbayd ibn Zurarah from his father who has said the following: âAbu Jaâfar (a.s.), has sad, âYou may miss a Salah (prayer) and remember it in another time. If you think you can perform Qadaâ (compensatory prayer) for the one missed when there is still enough time left to perform the present Salah (prayer), begin to do so.
Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, says, âPerform Salah (prayer) to remember (speak of) Meâ but if you know that with performing Qadaâ (compensatory prayer) for what you have missed, the time for the present one will end, then begin with the present Salah (prayer). Thereafter perform Qadaâ (compensatory prayer) for the one missed in the past.ââ جÙÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (15/63))
