2.A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Saâid from ibn Sinan from ibn Muskan from abu Basir from who has said the following: âAbu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said, âThe length of the staff of the Messenger of Allah was one yard and he would place it in his front for a barrier between himself and people passing by.ââ Ø´ÙÙØ± - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (5/69))
