Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ali ibn al-Hassan ibn Ali from âAbbad ibn Yaâqub from âAmr ibn Musâab from Furat ibn Ahnaf who has said the following: âI heard abu Jaâfar (a.s.), say, âEvery book that has come from the heavens begins with âIn the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.ââ When you read, âIn the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Mercifulâ it is then not an offense not to read: âI seek refuge with Allah against Satan, the condemned one.â When you read, âIn the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Mercifulâ, it protects you from things between the sky and earth.â ضعÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (5/107))
