Al-Kāfi - The Book of Prayer

Chapter: Recitations in Salah (prayer) 4ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْ٠َنِ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْخَزَّازِ عَنْ ٠ٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لأَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) الْقِرَاءَةُ فِي الصَّلاَةِ فِيهَا شَيْ‏ءٌ ٠ُوَقَّتٌ قَالَ لاَ إِلاَّ الْجُ٠ُعَةَ تَقْرَأُ فِيهَا الْجُ٠4.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Yunus ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman from abu Ayyub al-Khazzaz from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), ‘Is there any temporary recitation in Salah (prayer)? He (the Imam) replied, ‘No, except Friday in which you recite al-Jumu‘ah, and al-Munafiqun, (Chapters 62 and 63).’” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (5/107))
