Al-Kāfi - The Book of Prayer

Chapter: Recitations in Salah (prayer) َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَ٠ِ عَنْ سَيْفِ بْنِ عَ٠ِيرَةَ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ فَرْقَدٍ عَنْ صَابِرٍ ٠َّنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الله فِي الصَّلاَةِ الْ٠َغْرِبِ فَقَرَأَ الْ٠ُعَوِّذَتَيْنِ ثُ٠26.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Sayf ibn ‘Amirah from Dawud ibn Farqad from Sabir Mawla’ Bassam who has said the following: “Once, abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), led us in al-Maghrib Salah (prayer).
