27.Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn âIsa from Yunus ibn âAbd al-Rahman from âAbd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following: âI once said to abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), âIs it necessary for an Imam to read so that people behind him can hear his reading even if they are many?â He (the Imam) said, âHe reads moderately; Allah, most Blessed, most High, has said, âDo not be very loud in your Salah (prayer) nor very quiet.âââ (17:110) صØÙØ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (15/115))
