Al-Kāfi - The Book of Prayer

Chapter: Reading Chapters of the Holy Quran Which Involve Obligatory Sajdah 5ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠َّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَقْرَأُ بِالسَّجْدَةِ فِي آخِرِ السُّورَةِ قَالَ يَسْجُدُ ثُ٠ُ فَيَقْرَأُ فَاتِحَةَ الْكِتَابِ ثُ٠َّ يَرْكَعُ وَيَسْجُدُ.

He (the Imam) said, ‘He must perform Sajdah (prostration), then stand up, read al-Fatihah al-Kitab, then perform Ruku‘ (bowing down on one’s knees) and Sajdah (prostration).”’ حسن - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (15/118))
