Chapter: Placing the Forehead on the Ground َاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ ٠ُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ عَ٠َّارٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) إِذَا وَضَعْتَ جَبْهَتَكَ عَلَى نَبَكَةٍ فَلاَ تَرْفَعْهَا وَلَكِنْ جُرَّهَا عَلَى الأرْضِ. 3.

Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from Safwan ibn Yahya from Mu‘awiyah ibn ‘Ammar who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If you place your forehead on an uneven place, do not raise it to place on a proper place: instead drag it on the ground.’” رسل كالصحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (15/152))
