Al-Kāfi - The Book of Prayer

Chapter: Al-Qunut in Obligatory and Optional Salah (prayer) َّدٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ زِيَادٍ الْقَنْدِيِّ عَنْ دُرُسْتَ عَنْ ٠ٍ قَالَ قَالَ الْقُنُوتُ فِي كُلِّ صَلاَةٍ فِي الْفَرِيضَةِ وَالتَّطَوُّعِ. 15.

Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad Ya‘qub ibn Yazid from Ziyad al-Qandiy from Durust from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “He (the Imam) (a.s.), has said, ‘There is Qunut (supplication after recitation in second Rak‘at) in every Salah (prayer); obligatory or optional.’” (Ahadith 13-15 are best explained in the form of fatwa.) ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (15/169))
