Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn Hadid from Jamil from Zurarah who has said the following: âI once asked one of the two Imam, âAlayhim al-Salam, about a man who leads a people in Salah (prayer) of two Rakâat and then informs them that he does not have a valid Wuduâ.
He (the Imam) said, âPeople must complete their Salah (prayer); there is no responsibility on Imam.ââ ضعÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (15/267))
