Al-Kāfi - The Book of Prayer

Chapter: One Who Has Performed Salah (Prayer) but Wants to Join a Congregation or Has Led a People and Wants to Perform Again َاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ جَ٠ِيعاً عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠َيْرٍ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ الْبَخْتَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) فِي الرَّجُلِ يُصَلِّي الصَّلاَةَ وَحْدَهُ ثُ٠َاعَةً قَالَ يُصَلِّي ٠ْ وَيَجْعَلُهَا الْفَرِيضَةَ.

He (the Imam) said, ’He can perform Salah (prayer) with them and make it to be an obligatory one.”’ حسن كالصحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (15/268))
