Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from âUthman ibn âIsa from Saâid al-Aâraj who has said the following: âI once asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about a man who comes to Salah (prayer) and does not find a place in the rows. Can he stand up alone until Salah (prayer) is complete? He (the Imam) said, âYes, it is not an offense to stand parallel to the Imam.ââ ÙØ«Ù - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (15/282))
