Al-Kāfi - The Book of Prayer

Chapter: Performing Salah (Prayer) Inside Ka’bah, on its Top, al-Biya 4, Churches and Places where Performing Salah (prayer) Is Undesirable 3ـ عَنْهُ عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ عُثْ٠َانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ سَ٠َاعَةَ قَالَ لاَ تُصَلِّ فِي ٠َرَابِطِ الْخَيْلِ وَالْبِغَالِ وَالْحَ٠3.

It is a narration from him (narrator of previous Hadith) by Ahmad ibn Muhammad and Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from Sama‘ah who has said the following: “He (the Imam) (a.s.), said, ‘You must not perform Salah (prayer) in places where horses, mules and donkeys are kept.’” وثق - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (15/289))
