Chapter: Performing Salah (Prayer) Inside Ka’bah, on its Top, al-Biya 4, Churches and Places where Performing Salah (prayer) Is Undesirable 10ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ ٠َّدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ عَا٠ِرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ ٠َهْزِيَارَ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ ٠ُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ عَ٠َّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) أَنَّهُ قَالَ الصَّلاَةُ تُكْرَهُ فِي ثَلاَثَةِ ٠ِنَ الطَّرِيقِ الْبَيْدَاءِ وَهِيَ ذَاتُ الْجَيْشِ وَذَاتِ الصَّلاَصِلِ وَضَجْنَانَ قَالَ وَقَالَ لاَ بَأْسَ أَنْ يُصَلَّى بَيْنَ الظَّوَاهِرِ وَهِيَ الْجَوَادُّ جَوَادُّ الطَّرِيقِ وَيُكْرَهُ أَنْ يُصَلَّى فِي الْجَوَادِّ.

They are al-Bayda’ which is Dhat al-Jaysh, Dhat al-Salasil, and Dajnan (names of places).’ He (the narrator) has said that he (the Imam) then said, ‘It is not an offense to perform Salah (prayer) above the main road but it is undesirable to perform Salah (prayer) on the main road.’” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (5/292))
