Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from abu Hashim al-Jaâfariy who has said the following: âOne abu al-Hassan (a.s.), and I were in a ship on the Tigris. It became time for Salah (prayer) and I said, âI pray to Allah to keep my soul in service for your cause, can we perform Salah (prayer) in congregation?
He (the Imam) said, âNo, we perform Salah (prayer) in the valley in congregation.ââ Ø´ÙÙر - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (5/396))
