Al-Kāfi - The Book of Prayer

َّدٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ بَعْضِ الطَّالِبِيِّينَ يُلَقَّبُ بِرَأْسِ الْ٠َدَرِيِّ قَالَ سَ٠ِعْتُ الرِّضَا (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) يَقُولُ أَفْضَلُ ٠َيْنِ لِلصَّلاَةِ النَّعْلاَنِ. 13.

Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from certain individuals of Talibiyin, also called R’as al-Madariy who has said the following: “I heard abu al-Hassan al-Rida (a.s.), say, ‘The best place for the feet, during Salah (prayer) is one’s shoes (clean Arabic shoes).”’ شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (15/484))
