Al-Kāfi - The Book of Prayer

ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠َيْرٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) لِجَبْرَئِيلَ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) يَا جَبْرَئِيلُ أَيُّ الْبِقَاعِ أَحَبُّ إِلَى الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَالَ الْ٠َسَاجِدُ وَأَحَبُّ أَهْلِهَا إِلَى الله أَوَّلُهُ٠ْ دُخُولاً وَآخِرُهُ٠14.

A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Jabir who has said the following: “Abu Ja’far (a.s.), has said, ‘The Messenger of Allah asked Jibril (Gabriel), “Which places are more beloved to Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Glorious?” He replied, “It is Masjids and most beloved to Allah of its people are those who enter them first and leave last.’”” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (5/484))
