Al-Kāfi - The Book of Prayer

Chapter: Excellence of the Great Masjid of Kufah, Excellence of Performing Salah (prayer) and the Loveable places Therein َّدٍ عَنْ سَهْلٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَسْبَاطٍ رَفَعَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) قَالَ الأسْطُوَانَةُ السَّابِعَةُ ٠َّا يَلِي أَبْوَابَ كِنْدَةَ فِي الصَّحْنِ ٠َ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠ُ جَبْرَئِيلَ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠7.

Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Sahl from ibn Asbat in a marfu‘ manner who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the seventh pillar counting from Kindah doors in the compound is the station of Ibrahim and the fifth is the station of Jibril (Gabriel), Allah has granted him peace.” شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (5/489))
