Al-Kāfi - The Book of al-Zakat َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ رَفَعَهُ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ هَلْ لِلزَّكَاةِ وَقْتٌ ٠ٌ تُعْطَى فِيهِ فَقَالَ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لَيَخْتَلِفُ فِي إِصَابَةِ الرَّجُلِ الْ٠َّا الْفِطْرَةُ فَإِنَّهَا ٠2.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad in a marfu‘ manner from abu Basir who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), Is there a definite time to pay Zakat?
