1.A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ibn Abi âUmayr from al-Husayn ibn âUthman from the one whom he has mentioned who has said the following: âI once asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about a man who pays Zakat to a person whom as he sees is a needy person, but later finds out to be affluent. He (the Imam) said, âSuch payment is not sufficient for Zakat.ââ Øس٠- Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (6/81))
