Hammad ibn ‘Isa has narrated from Hariz from abu Basir who has said the following: “Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘If one takes out his Zakat and assigns it to be paid to a people but it is lost, or he sends it to them and it is lost, he is not held responsible.’” حسن - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (16/101))
