A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ali ibn Asbat from Yaâqub ibn Salim who has said the following: âAbu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said that you must leave alone a borrower who has difficulty repaying a loan, just as Allah does (extend the due time for payment of loan if the borrower has difficulty repaying... â (see (2:280)).
